Customize Your Invitations for Birthdays, Holidays and Events
As you know, we recently had a Friendsgiving party at our new home and we’re currently considering hosting a holiday party closer to Christmas. After all, gathering together for food and drinks is what makes the holiday season so special. And what better way to set the tone to your party with the perfect invitation? So when Basic Invite contacted me about reviewing their stationery, my response was obviously and enthusiastically “whenwherehow???”
(Disclaimer: I was compensated for this blog post but all opinions are my own)
First, the Basic Invite website is clean and easy to navigate. As someone who once worked for an online marketing and web design company in another lifetime, this is a big plus for me. But you’re not here for a website review so let’s get to the stationery!
Basic Invite offers stationery and invitations for so many different events and milestones. Whether it’s a wedding, a graduation, a baby shower (even a quinceañera)—Basic Invite has a card or stationery for it. Their birthday cards include photo birthday party invitations, men’s birthday invitations, kids’ birthday invitations and more! They even have Christmas or holiday cards for you to send to your friends and family (because sharing pictures of my dog on social media is not enough!).
I mean, their pet Christmas cards… come on!
Each card or invitation is offered in almost unlimited colors! Not only can you change the colors of the text and design elements, you can also change the color of the entire card. And once you’ve chosen your card design, you can select from over 40 different colors of envelopes to match, as well. Even the logo on the envelope can be customized to match the theme of your card. (BONUS: all envelopes are peel and seal so no licking for you!)
One thing I love about Basic Invite is the options for foil cards in gold, silver and rose gold and in a flat or raised texture.
The options don’t end there, however, because they also offer 4 different card shapes. I like clean lines so my personal preference is basic square.
To help ensure your cards are exactly the way you want them, a Basic Invite designer will review your design to make sure it is just right (for an additional $10 fee). Or you can continue with the DIY route and get free samples to inspect them yourself. I mean, who says no to free? I definitely recommend the sample option since one of my cards arrived missing the foil embellishments in my approved design. Upon realizing the error, I reached out to Basic Invite via the chat feature on their website and it was quickly resolved within minutes. Queenie, their rep, offered to send the sample free of charge with priority express shipping. Queenie also ensured me that she will contact their printer manager to make sure it does not happen again.
Right now Basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code: 15FF51
With so many customization options, you can be assured that your invitations or cards will truly reflect your personal style!
I received a card in each of their 5 different types of paper and 4 different types of shape. They all came in high quality card stock (my favorite is the double thick matte) and the colors were true and picture quality was crisp and clear.
Be sure to check out their cards and stationery at basicinvite.com and let me know how you like them!
