Friendsgiving: Hosting Our First Dinner Party

Friendsgiving: Hosting Our First Dinner Party

We’ve been living in our new home for a few months now and it’s finally starting to come together. Even though the house is not ready, we decided to take advantage of the holiday season and invite our friends for our first dinner party (check out how I set my table here). I’ve come to accept that the house will always be a work in progress and it should never be a hindrance to hosting Friendsgiving for our loved ones to enjoy delicious food!

While some recipes are ones we’ve been making for years now, some are new and we did not know how everyone would like it. I figured I’d list the holiday dishes we served along with their recipes. I was a little nervous about cooking for so many people but I’m happy to report that everyone loved the food. So much so that I wanted to share these holiday recipes on here for them and for you guys! Here they are:

The only other dishes that we made without any real recipes were the baked broccoli and baked brussel sprouts (courtesy of my friend, Kerry). We pretty much winged these two and we were surprised at how much everyone loved them! I must admit, they were pretty delicious.

My only regret is that I did not take any pictures for you guys. But fret not because here’s a vlog of the whole thing! Now you can enjoy our Friendsgiving/Holiday dinner party with us and you didn’t even have to help cook!

Let me know if you end up making any of these dishes!
